Founder & Ironman
Daniel Teague
Daniel Teague is an endurance athlete, fitness enthusiast and proud father to his one-year-old son. His achievements include completing the Dartmoor Discovery ultramarathon, the Torbay Triathlon, several CrossFit events and IRONMAN Austria in 2026.
The idea for Transition Transport came from Daniel’s own experience of arranging for his bike to be transported to an IRONMAN event. Recognising an opportunity to create a more personal and comprehensive service for fellow athletes, he approached Jacob with his vision. Together, they developed a bespoke bike transportation service, enhanced by the thoughtful details and additional benefits Daniel believed triathletes would genuinely value.
Daniel’s first-hand understanding of the preparation, commitment and trust involved in reaching the start line remains at the heart of Transition Transport. His goal is simple: to take the stress out of transporting athletes’ most important equipment and provide a service that every customer can rely upon. He knows first-hand the stress of the logistics involved in competing at an Ironman event, and fully believes that the Transition Transport service will remove the stress and anguish from races having their bikes transported.
Founder
Jacob Bellas
Jacob is an entrepreneur, experienced business adviser and proud father of five. He currently runs several businesses, primarily focusing on accountancy and consultancy, and is also a director and shareholder of a web design and marketing company alongside several other ventures.
Away from business, Jacob volunteers as Finance Director at Newton Abbot Rugby Club and coaches three of the club’s age groups, in which his children play. A keen advocate for sport and fitness, he trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is a regular at the local gym and enjoys supporting his family’s involvement in grassroots sport.
Jacob brings commercial insight, strong financial expertise and a sharp understanding of customer service to Transition Transport. His business acumen complements Daniel’s first-hand experience of triathlons and IRONMAN events, creating a partnership that combines an athlete’s understanding with a clear focus on reliability, service and the customer experience.
